Welcome to the International Conference on the Status and Future of the World’s Large Rivers website!

Dear friends of the World’s Large Rivers Conference,

In the context of the ongoing global situation regarding COVID-19 we have made the decision to carry out the 4th World’s Large Rivers Conference as an

online event from 3rd – 6th of August 2021

This means that the conference can be attended easily virtually online. Since the health and safety of our attendees is of utmost importance to us, we believe that this solution guarantees that every participant can attend the way he or she wants.

We would like to thank all the participants, authors and colleagues for their support and warm encouragement during the last year and we are looking so much forward to seeing you digitally at the conference in August!

With the best wishes and stay healthy,
